TITIANS WELCOME THE BUDDING FRESHERS Agman 2K9

BHIWANI, September 12, 2009, The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences’ campus was once more alive with the enthusiastic welcome of new budding talents by the seniours of the institute.

The programme throng opened with an inaugural classical dance. By her classical consort Apala, a B. Tech. Third Semester girl extended cordial welcome to the chief guest Dr J. Arthur Prem, IRS (formerly Deputy commissioner Customs & Central Excise) of the occasion who himself was considerate enough to take the pain of travelling all the way from Mumbai along with his better half to grace the occasion honour his “alma matter” and gave a chance to Titians to boast of their alumni. He also shared his own days reminiscences with students. He was a student in TIT & S in 1971 batch and now he is an alumnus and part of TITOBA (Now TITOSA) west zone. He also said that TITOBA west zone is committed to add to the growth of TIT & S and will definitely come to the rescue of their parental institute. Prof P. K. Hari formerly professor IIT Delhi, also graced the occasion. The programme was organized in Open Air Theatre in the boys hostel campus. The programme was chaired by Prof (Dr) Rishi P. Jamdagni and Joint president TIT mills Mr S. K. Kapoor. Media relations were taken care by Dr Sudhir Narayan Singh, Press/Media Convener and Mr Kunal Sapra media coordinator (students). Mr Anurag was selected Mr Fresher (Mr Prince) and Ms Aditi was selected Ms Fresher (Ms Princes).
