Syllable means a group of Vowel and Consonant Sounds that may come together to form the word. Syllable is the smallest unit of language which has a vowel sound. Syllables of three types:1. Monosyllable (One Syllable: as bat, cat, rat, mat, pat, sun, make, take, go etc) 2. Di-syllable (Consisting two syllables: Report, Beauty, Affix, Exceed, Repose, Duty etc), and 3. Polysyllable (Three or More than three Syllable: Important, Renovation, Glorification, Unpredictable, Opportunity, Discontinuance) Consequently, a word may consists of Three Types of Construction i.e. Monosyllabic, Di-syllabic or Polysyllabic Construction...!!!
Born on May 01, 1975 in a small hamlet (Shivpur) of Distt. Mirzapur, U. P., India, situated at the bank of holy river Ganges, Dr Singh received his UG, PG & Ph.D. degrees in English Literature from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. As academician he dedicatedly contributed his services at various colleges, Institutes and Universities of U.P., Haryana & Punjab. Presently working as Associate Professor of English, HMSD, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, UP, INDIA. Attended over 50 National and International seminars, conferences & presented over 50 papers. Chaired many technical sessions in reputed institutions like IIM (B), BITS-Pilani, Raj., ISDR (Ranchi) and in International Conference on Role and Responsibilities of Humanities and Social Sciences in Technical Education at SRM University, NCR Campus, Modinar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and in 56th All India English Teachers' Conference at Bareilly College, Bareilly, U.P.. Supervised 03 M. Phil. & guided 04 Ph. D. Students. 01 student is working on his Doctoral thesis under his supervision.
He was an alumnus of Exeter College, University of Oxford during ELT Summer Seminar 2018.
